OTHER GRANTS

 

Once selected, self-funded students can apply for other scholarships/grants (different from Erasmus Mundus scholarships).

We recommend you to contact the International Relations office of your host institution a few months before your mobility for further information on the grants offered and the application procedures.

You will find more information on some of the grants offered at the STRAINS institutions below.

The Mermoz grant was created by the French region of Hauts-de-France, where the Université de Lille is situated.
 

INFORMATION
  • This grant is only available for students who do not receive the Erasmus Mundus scholarship.
  • Only the students who have been living in the Hauts-de-France region for at least two years are eligible for this grant.
  • Only the students who are registered in a Higher Education Institution in the French Hauts-de-France region are eligible for this grant.
  • When applying, students will have to provide a tax document which is only available for students who are French or have been living in France for some time.
  • This grant can be combined with the Erasmus+ grant (but not AMI or Moblilex).
  • Students can benefit from this grant for studies or internship.
  • Students can benefit from this grant for one mobility (one semester, 4 weeks mim.).
  • The amount allocated for this grant is max. 400€ per month.

Moblilex stands for MOBilité - LILle - EXcellence. It was created for the students of the Université de Lille who wish to attend exchange programmes of excellence.
Since all STRAINS students are registered at the University of Lille, all of our self-funded students are eligible for this grant.
 

The amount of the grant depends on your type of mobility, as shown in the table below:

  • This grant is only available for students who do not receive the Erasmus Mundus scholarship.
  • If the student is eligible for other grants (such as Erasmus+, Mermoz or AMI), they are not eligible for Moblilex.
  • This grant cannot be combined with the Erasmus+, Mermoz or AMI (Aide à la Mobilité Internationale) grant.
  • You can benefit from this grant for one mobility (one semester, 3 months mim.).

The Aide à la Mobilité Internationale (AMI) is available for students who already benefit from a CROUS grant and are planning to do a mobility abroad.
 

INFORMATION
  • This grant is only available for students who do not receive the Erasmus Mundus scholarship.
  • Only the students who already benefit from the French grant "CROUS" are eligible for this grant.
  • This grant can be combined with the Erasmus+ grant (but not with Mermoz or AMI).
  • Students can benefit from this grant for up to 6 months for studies and 3 months for an internship.
  • The amount allocated for this grant is 400€ per month.
