PARTIAL WAIVER OF PARTICIPATION FEES

Self-funding STRAINS students from partner countries who cannot afford the participation fees can apply for a partial participation fee waiver.

If such a waiver is granted by the consortium, the participation fees are reduced by 33%.

The number of participation fee waivers per cohort is limited.

Interested students should contact the STRAINS project officer (master-strainsuniv-lillefr) for further information about the application procedure.

OTHER GRANTS

Once selected, self-funded students can apply for other scholarships/grants (different from Erasmus Mundus scholarships).

We recommend you to contact the International Relations office of your host institution a few months before your mobility for further information on the grants offered and the application procedures.

You will find more information on some of the grants offered at the STRAINS institutions below.

Mermoz was created by the French region of Hauts-de-France.

To be eligible, you need to meet the following requirements:

  • you are a resident of the Hauts-de-France region
  • you must be registered in an institution of the Hauts-de-France region

REMARK: Most non-French students are not eligible for this grant.

When you apply, you will be asked to provide tax information, including: "revenu fiscal de référence”, "nombre de parts fiscales" and "quotient familial”. These are French terms but this type of information can only be found in a "avis d'imposition" / tax assessment (a document stating what you owe in tax). If you are not French and haven’t been living/working in France, you won’t be able to provide this information, which makes you ineligible.

  • You cannot receive the following grants at the same time: Mermoz and Moblilex.
